I loved this movie! Although it was mostly nonstop action, it had a nice pacing with the emotional flashbacks as a creative alternative to the "same old" telling of Clark's childhood. His coming to terms with who he is and the world's reaction seemed gritty, real and completely believable. General Zod was a complex and believable villain thankfully ditching the caricatures typically used for him. The fight scenes were epic and something I have waited many movies to see. The extensive use of Kryptonian elements gave it an extra sci-fi boost. And last but definitely note least - Henry Cavill is the perfect superman. He has the look, the physique, and his performance was wonderful giving superman the perfect blend of hero and vulnerable humanity. An epic, awesome adventure that I will see again and I will add to my collection.

Well... that is the word i will use for this revamp of this film. the whole new take on his origin was great and the glimpses of his childhood & as teenager were great too! that is all i want to say without giving any spoilers. DO NOT listen to any critics (as i know most of you don't anyway, and for those of you who do? you are fools!!) Go see this movie and be the judge of it yourself. Henry Cavill was a great choice for the Man of Steel! Go See it!

Read the reviews before going so i went with low expectations.... For the first time in a long time i came out of this movie ready and WILLING to go right back in and watch it a second time. I would love to see a video of my facial expressions as i watched this. BLOWN away. There is no describing it you leave the theater exhausted and giddy as a 10 year old child. I dont want to spoil anything for anyone. Pay for Imax. do not scrimp on this movie. Stunned is the best word i can think of. Going again I have NO PROBLEM paying 16 bucks to see this again at IMAX. Enjoy guys and forget the critics.
